Do I need an iPhone Duo?
No. Clac! works on any iPhone with iOS 27. On iPhone Duo, each fold of the phone is one fold of the paper. On any other iPhone, every 500 steps is one fold.
Is Clac! free?
Yes. Free to download, with the daily sheet, 19 origami, the widgets, Crease Check on iPhone Duo and sharing. Do I have to fold my phone on purpose?
No. Clac! never asks you to fold your phone. It counts the folds you make anyway, and today's sheet takes shape over the day.
Does it count folds when Clac! isn't open?
Yes, once you add one Shortcuts automation. Clac! walks you through it in setup, or later in Settings, Background counting. Steps are read when you open Clac! and now and then in the background.
Does it work on more than one iPhone?
Yes. With iCloud on, your iPhones share one fold history. Folds from a Duo and steps from another iPhone land on the same sheet, and everything comes back if you reinstall.
What happens to my data?
Clac! has no account, no analytics, no ads and no third-party code. Your folds stay on your iPhone and in your own private iCloud. Your step count never leaves your iPhone.
